“Our pride stems from the fact that we are a country where everyone thrives equally regardless of their differences.”
— His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
At Hampton Heights International School, we are proud to be an inclusive learning community where every child is valued, supported, and given the opportunity to succeed. We are committed to providing a caring and nurturing environment where individual differences are respected and celebrated. Our goal is to ensure that each pupil can access and benefit from the curriculum through meaningful learning experiences that help them reach their full potential.
Most students’ needs are met through high-quality, differentiated teaching within the mainstream classroom. However, for those requiring additional support, tailored plans such as Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) will be developed in collaboration with families and specialists to ensure personalised learning pathways.
At Hampton Heights, every applicant is welcomed and given the opportunity to experience our school environment first-hand through a school visit. This allows students and families to get a feel for our inclusive ethos and learning culture.
Students identified as Gifted and Talented are recognised through ongoing teacher observations and assessments aligned with our academic framework. Enrichment opportunities, such as extended learning tasks and challenge booklets, are offered in collaboration with the Head of Inclusion to ensure their talents are nurtured—primarily through high-quality classroom teaching and appropriate differentiation.
We also support students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL). During the admissions process, we assess students’ current English proficiency to determine the level of support needed. EAL learners benefit from targeted programmes and resources, and all teachers are trained and expected to meet the diverse learning needs of every student in their classrooms—including Students of Determination, Gifted and Talented, and EAL students.
